About the Event

This webinar for London stakeholders will draw attention to the impact of air quality on asthma and lung health more widely, triggers and strategies to mitigate the risk. It is for healthcare professionals and commissioners with an interest in asthma, local authority partners, CYP with asthma and their families. 

We will hear from Prof Jonathan Grigg (Chair), Professor of Paediatric Respiratory and Environmental Medicine (Queen Mary University of London), Honorary Consultant Paediatrician (Barts Health NHS Trust) on the impact of air quality on lung health in CYP, Sam Rostom: Programme Director Children & Young People, North Central London ICS and Tom Parkes: Indoor air quality and health lead, Camden Council on How Local Authorities can work together with the NHS on improving air quality for CYP asthma and Catherine Sutton, parent of child with severe allergic asthma on A parent’s perspective on trigger strategies and living with allergic asthma.
