Established Educators Workshop on Group Facilitation Skills

Aim of this 2-day workshop: 

To enable multiprofessional educators across London and the South East to develop their group facilitation skills.

Description:

This interactive workshop is suitable for established educators from all healthcare professionals involved in education and training in primary and community care to explore how to facilitate learning in groups. It will use small and large groups to illustrate approaches to facilitation and provide participants with practical skills.

Learning activities are likely to include:

  • Sharing experiences of group learning across different professions
  • Exploring approaches to facilitating learning in different types of group
  • Practice in group facilitation
  • Exploring and identifying challenges related to supporting groups of learners
  • Dealing with conflict arising in groups

Certificates of attendance will be provided.

Who can attend?

Educators from any primary care professional group with at least 2 years’ experience.

Trainers: Lisa Miller and David Goosey.

Dates

8th and 15th January 2021

Duration:

Two days with a week between days.09.30-16.30 each day organised as 2 threehour blocks with comfort and lunch breaks.
