SWL Cervical Sample Taker Initial Training - 1 x online session, 1 x mandatory classroom session - £150pp
This course is open to: -Registered Nurses, Registered Midwives, Registered Nursing Associates -Physician Associates, registered on the Physician Associate Managed Voluntary Register (PAMVR) -General Medical Council (GMC) Registered Medical Doctors

About the Event
Delivered in accordance with the NHS Cervical Screening Programme training guidelines and is accredited by the Royal College of Nursing.
The theoretical training comprises of online modules, Teams meetings & practical teaching delivered over a one-week period. Classroom teaching (mandatory practical session) will take one full day and will be held at the Chaucer Centre, Morden SM4 6PX
Following on from this clinical practice & portfolio work, under the supervision of a mentor, will need to be completed with a final external assessment. SWL Training Hubs will be able to provide an external assessor for you.
The whole training registration pathway can take up to 6 months to complete and all components are compulsory for staff wishing to take cervical samples.
