About the Event

In July, Londonwide LMCs is launching a new and innovative ‘Managing a Remote Team’ module.

This module is suitable for anyone working in a position of management or leadership where some or all members of their team are working from home or other remote locations, and is professionally accredited by the Royal College of General Practitioners and the CPD Standards Office.

Using a blended learning approach, the module consists of four units, to be completed over four months.

On completion, managers and leaders will have:

  • Improved skills to support and run a team that are based in various locations.
  • An understanding of communicating with individuals using video technology.
  • An understanding of chairing meetings using video technology.
  • An understanding of managing conflict within a remote team and how to reduce the probability of conflict arising.

This is a fully funded development opportunity and numbers are restricted. It will be offered for a limited period only.

If you believe this module will be of benefit to you and your team, or you would like further information please contact Karen Piddington, Project Manager, Workforce Training and Innovation Team on karen.piddington@lmc.org.uk.
